Welcome to Everything Falls! This Privacy Policy explains how Hallowed Hare Studio collects, uses, and protects your information when you play our game on iOS and Android. We believe in transparency and keeping your data safe while you dodge bombs, collect gold, and gather fallen fragments.
1. Information Collection
We collect information in two ways:
- Automatically Collected: When you play, we may collect basic device information (like your device model and OS version) and crash logs. This helps us ensure the game runs smoothly on your phone.
- Third-Party Services: We use trusted partners to provide essential game features:
- Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display Rewarded Ads (e.g., watching an ad to revive). AdMob may collect and use unique device identifiers (like IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android) and cookies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences.
- Sentry: We use Sentry for real-time error tracking. If the game crashes, Sentry collects stack traces, device info, and application state data to help us identify and fix bugs quickly.
- Apple Game Center: We integrate with Game Center for authentication, leaderboards, and achievements. This involves processing your Game Center ID and public profile alias.
2. How We Use Information
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide Gameplay Features: To sync your game progress (save files) across devices using iCloud and track your high scores via Game Center.
- Fix Bugs: To analyze crash reports from Sentry and make the game more stable for everyone.
- Show Ads: To deliver optional Rewarded Ads via Google AdMob that allow you to earn in-game rewards.
3. Data Sharing & Storage
We do not sell your personal data. We do not associate your data with your real-world identity. We only share anonymized data with our service providers (Google, Sentry, Apple) as strictly necessary to operate the game.
- iCloud Sync: Your game progress is stored in your private iCloud container. We do not have direct access to view these files; they are securely processed by Apple to keep your save data synced across your devices.
- In-App Purchases: We use Apple StoreKit to unlock characters and items. We do not process financial transactions directly. All payment data is handled securely by Apple. We only retain a record of what you purchased (the "entitlements").
4. Permissions & Device Data
To provide the full experience, the app requires access to:
- Internet Access: Required to load ads, sync your progress to iCloud, and send crash reports.
- Haptics: We use your device's vibration hardware to provide tactile feedback during gameplay (like when you... explode).
5. Children’s Privacy
Everything Falls is rated 9+ on the App Store (10+ in Brazil, All Ages in Korea). While our game is family-friendly, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in complying regions). We encourage parents to monitor their children's online activities. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us so we can remove it.
6. User Rights
Depending on your location (such as under GDPR or CCPA), you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, delete, or opt-out of certain data processing. You can manage your ad tracking preferences directly through your device settings at any time.
